Catharsis: 2066 is a sci-fi novel series written by up-and-coming author David McGoings.  In a not too distant future, Earth is on the brink of environmental collapse.  Just when all hope seems lost a mysterious race of hyper-advanced alien lifeforms appear and offer a solution to save their planet, but at what cost?
