Battleborn is developed by Gearbox Software, the teams behind the critically acclaimed hybrid role-playing-shooter Borderlands 2 and is an ambitious fusion of genres. The game combines highly-stylized visuals and frenetic first-person shooting.

On this project, We worked once again with Secret Sauce Studio to illustrate over 60 backgrounds for Battleborn's 2D cutscenes. Below are examples of the animation backgrounds as well as a look at the final cutscenes!
